My friend works at TSE, so I've come to these before. In the past, I've bought sweaters and a dress.
What did you buy here today? A pair of shorts and a couple of tops, one cashmere and a few cotton. The quality of the clothes is good, and it's nice that it's in a big space. I've been to sample sales held in tiny spaces, and they were not any fun at all.
What are you wearing? I made my shirt and got my boots at a thrift store. I'm a designer, actually; I have my own company.
Your personal style? I sort of wear whatever I like and don't worry too much about what's in magazines. I wouldn't consider my style classic at all—probably more casual and trendy.
Best purchase ever? I got a secondhand, 90s-era Moschino couture coat from my friend's consignment store in Rhode Island. I paid just $350 for it, and it's my favorite piece of clothing.
Sample sale tips or secrets? Get here early, I guess.
