At Boutique on 57 sample sale in New York City last week, Oriana Sarkar, an accountant by day and a salsa dancer by night, was looking for the perfect outfits for her dual personalities.

How did you hear about this sale?
ORIANA SARKAR
My co-worker.
Q: Are you looking for anything in particular?
A: Accessories only. I have tons of clothing with tags on it in my closet.
Q: Any good finds?
A: I’m really considering some of the silver clutches and necklaces.
Q: How often do you go to sample sales?
A: Not often. Whenever I hear about them from a friend.
Q: How important is fashion to you?
A: Very recently I’ve become more excited about the prospect of shopping. I’ve been taking salsa lessons over the past year and I love buying flirty dresses, skirts, and jewelry that swings.
Q: Do you have any tips for sample sale shopping?
A: Bring cash and review the return policy.
Q: Personal Style?
A: I’m an accountant by day and a salsa dancer by night so it’s dual. Ultra conservative and very flirty and fun.
Q: Favorite celebrity fashion inspiration?
A: Salma Hayek. She dresses her curves very well.
Q: Best purchase ever?
A: My fire engine red manolo blahnik open toe stilettos that I dance in.
