another way to wear skinny jeans is too go a size up so they're not as tight as your normally flaired jeans just to prevent the "skin-tight-all the way down" look.

I love these jeans and want to try them. with these jeans it's definitelly a matter of proportions. I'm 5'4, size 0 but have a 'sizeable' behind. What are your opinions on that? Could I pull it off anyway? a darker color maybe?

wow, these look tacky. Can anyone recommend a jean w. boot cut leg DARK (!)
that is cut to the waist? PS Christina, a staright leg will only make us look shorter,
especially w. our bit of a behind. Go dark, no or little embellishment on the butt.

for dark washes, i like joes jeans... i just bought a pair of their cigarette pants. nice and dark. even though we're petite just make sure your proportions are balanced... so a nice flowy top... maybe a kimono style, to help cover anything sizeable (belly, behind, etc.)

Abercrombie & Fitch has some good cigarette jeans, the Erin Jean, I believe. Beware, they are quite low in the rise so you may run the risk of "plumber butt". Otherwise, they are cute and not terribly pricey.

it has to be said skinny jeans are wicked for those of you that do have skinny chop stick legs...finally jeans that are in fashion that cater for the skinny women....doesn't matter how tall/short u r as long as ur legs r skinny (british size 6)you'll get away with wearing them...if jeans are too long never turn them up get them tailored

if you are looking for great fitting skinnies you have to pay the price to be honest..miss sixty are a brill fit as they have a bit of stretch in them, religion jeans are great too, they don't have any stretch in them...sass & bride are great too. Seriously though if you know your legs & hips are beautifully curvy DO NOT wear these jeans just because they are in fashion..stick to what flatters your legs & Butt otherwise you'll look out of proportion

MIKA-- For high waisted skinny jeans, which I'm also coveting, you can try googling Acne Jeans, which are perfect, but really pricey. J Brand also just came out with a higher rise skinny jean. He also makes a petite jeans, but when I called and told them what i wanted they proposed the ankle cigarette leg, and promised free exchange if i did not like it. I own expensivet jeans, but I've never had jeans fit me so well. I bought them online at http://www.joeseshop.com . I first ordered a size 26, but I exchanged them for a size 25, and the 25 was more than perfect. I'm hooked. OMG, I love my skinny jeans own 8 pairs and they are all very flattering they make my curves look sexy ! I am usaully a uk size 10/28 but dont want that skintight look cause it makes my bum look huge so I always buy a 12/30 just so my legs have some breathing space. Just make sure you try before you buy as some cuts can be very unflattering. I live in the London, England and the best jeans are topshop ones (Indigo Baxter), they aren't too expensive (£40 - £45), fit well, last long and you can put them in the wash without them fading (washing them inside out!). I find that wearing darker skinny jeans such as indigo, black and dark grey looks nicer on curvy figures. I stear well clear of the white ones! I usaully tuck them in my boots, don them with some pumps for the casual look or dressed them up with heels for a killah look.

so anyone know of long, form fitting but not tight, medium waist, moderatley priced with a bit of spandex/lycra jeans, let me know?

Don't all jump on the bandwagon at once! Skinny jeans are definitely not for everyone. Wear something that flatters your body type rather than worrying about what "evreyone else" is wearing. If the silhouettes that are trendy are unflattering on you, you will look bad and feel worse. Bring a trusted friend who will tell you the truth along with you to find the right jeans. Please.

Like any jean....skinny jeans are made for all shapes. At this point, you can find them anywhere too. Just like before, you have try on and try on some more to get what works best for your shape. Just remember a golden rule of fashion when putting together your look: Skinny botton, full top...skinny top loser bottom! It's simple and easy enough to remember...and it works! It's all about balance lades.

SHORT GIRLS WITH A BOOTY SHOULD NOT WEAR SKINNY JEANS. ONLY TALLER GIRLS WITH VERY SLENDER FIGURES CAN PULL IT OFF!

Hey. I am 5'10 and a size 4/5 long and I found some AMAZING skinnies at Pac Sun. They come in everysize and come short, regular or long. They have so many different washes. The best bet is the Venice Skinny. They look great!

I love skinny jeans, but the picture above dose the trend no justice.Pumps, not open in the back heels would look much better as well as a darker wash. Grey or dark blue are the washes I love to wear in skinny jeans. They are my favorite jeans to go out in. They look good with boots in the winter and flats in the summer.

I wore these skinny jeans when I was a teenager and I am 40 now. People, style revolves...true Fashionistas know this. They are nothing new. As before they are not for every body type and shape...That is why there selections..Nothing looks good on every one. They are FABOLOUS for those who look good in them, like me. We would straight leg our own jeans..hand sewing or take to Dry cleaners. This is done by taken a normal pair of jeans and start at the crotch area and draw a slanted line from top to bottom using chalk or a fabric pen that washes out then sew along the line in a neat close manner to reach the bottom. Make sure you measure first.

Urban Ourfitters has some great fitting skinny jeans. We like them because they are fitted very straight at the bottom and not crunchy at the bottom which can make them look tacky. Wear them with some real high D-Squared shoes and you have a glam look for a night on the town. Ballet slippers with skinnies are good for the daytime. Say no to wedges with this look- it throws them off balance.

curvy full figured women can def rock skinny jeans. I look damn good in them and I weigh 160 lbs. I don't understand why some people think skinnies are just for ultra thin women. you just have to pick the cut that's good for your figure. with the right skinny jeans, you will actually look leaner and taller.

Hello everybody! I am looking for a certain pair of Miss Sixty jeans, what's the name of the jeans that have the zipper on the OUTER ankle and not inner ankle (like J-Lot)? Thanks!
