Victoria's Secret PINK celebrated the launch of their back-to-school Collegiate Collection with Fall Out Boy at L.A.’s legendary Santa Monica Pier.

Pinkapalooza was hosted by international supermodel, current ''It'' girl and the new face and spokesperson of PINK, Behati Prinsloo. Victoria's Secret PINK fans rocked out with Fall Out Boy, and were able to compete in USC vs. UCLA rivalry games and be among the first to shop the Victoria Secret PINK brand’s newest collection.  Danny Masterson (aka DJ MomJeans) was on hand to spin everyone’s favorite summer tunes.  The first 3,000 people who showed up with party passes were able to enjoy free rides and games all night long. Oodles of fun prizes and cool Victoria's Secret PINK items from the new collection were given away.

College students often flaunt their school spirit with sweatshirts, flip-flops and face paint. Now, popular retailer Victoria's Secret is offering another outlet through which women can show school pride: The Victoria's Secret Collegiate Collection of underware and directly from bed to class loungeware.  Currently about 33 Colleges are represented in the Victoria's Secret Collegiate Collection.

Sara Tervo, director of public relations for Victoria's Secret stores, said the PINK promotion is happening on 33 different campuses.
Tervo said some of the PINK Collegiate Collection is for college students who will be able to roll out of bed and wear the apparel straight to class.

Tervo said about four years ago PINK came about in an effort to target a different demographic, the ''collegiate girl''.  It made sense to develop a lounge collection.  The idea really helped round out Victoria Secret to become the ultimate destination every woman's needs.

A misperception people had was that the PINK line was all pink in color. Pink just defines the colorful happy fun in the collection. PINK has a huge celebrity fan base but Victoria Secret doesn't have Supermodels representing PINK. Tervo's criteria was not to find the sexiest or thinnest young women, but to find the ones who are ''a leader on their campus — girls who everyone knows when they walk around campus.''

''PINK is different because it is a collection of lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear that combines the sexiness of Victoria's Secret with a spirit and youthful energy all its own,'' Tervo said. ''PINK is a lifestyle.''

If your school is not one of the 33 currently in the collection you can nominate it on the Victoria Secret website.
