Dennis Basso offers lots of looks to satisfy even the most style-hungry fashionista. When you love dinner parties as much as you love lounging, you need a pretty diverse wardrobe. Thank goodness for Basso, or Basso-inspired pieces in this case.

When I'm getting my wardrobe ready, I like to start things off with a dramatic slant. Since this show inspires plenty of ensembles, I'm aiming at the glamorous side of things first: v-neck dresses. One of Dennis Basso's sexiest runway looks was a short cream-colored dress, complete with spaghetti straps. Treating myself to sexy heels isn't a problem (not when they're this affordable!). These Paris Hilton Arletta Mary Janes ($83.00) are a great choice, while t-strap sandals are another flattering option. Choose black or burnished brown for understated appeal, and if you're going to be wearing cream like me, you can try bright gold dress sandals like these Betsey Johnson Sandrah Shoes ($183.99).

Sprinkle on some well-chosen accessories for the final touch. I want jewelry that can stand alone, like this chunky bracelet from Overstock.com ($70.95) or a pair of big earrings like these Forever 21 Metal Leaf Earrings ($3.80). Pared-down metallics are always my first choice-- they're one of the best investments. Worn day or night, they can jazz up any outfit in a flash.
